Aktivitas Ekstrak Rimpang Kunyit (Curcuma longa L) pada Mencit Parkinson yang Diinduksi Haloperidol

چکیده

Penyakit Parkinson merupakan penyakit neurodegeneratif dengan gangguan motorik seperti bradikinesia, rigiditas, dan tremor yang dapat mempengaruhi keseimbangan tubuh. Hal ini terjadi karena penurunan kadar dopamin dipicu oleh adanya stres oksidatif. Kunyit (Curcuma longa) mengandung kurkumin mempunyai aktivitas antioksidatif neuroprotektif potensial sehingga mencegah Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui ekstrak rimpang kunyit pada mencit model diinduksi haloperidol. Ekstraksi dilakukan secara maserasi pelarut etanol 96%. Sebanyak 60 ekor dibagi menjadi 6 kelompok, masing-masing mendapat perlakukan sebagai berikut : Kelompok normal diberi CMC-Na per oral (p.o) NaCl fisiologis intraperitoneal (i.p), kelompok haloperidol CMC -Na larutan i.p (1 mg/kg BB), levodopa i.p, 100 dosis BB , 200 400 i.p. Pemberian CMC-Na, diberikan selama 21 hari. Lima belas menit setelah pemberian perlakuan hari terakhir, semua hewan uji kecuali 1 diinjeksi Kemudian batang, roda berputar, refleks geotaksis, menghindari jurang kemampuan penciuman ke 5, 60, 120 180. Data diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan anova satu jalur dilanjutkan post hoc LSD. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa meningkatkan waktu katalepsi, jumlah jatuh mempercepat pertama kali, menurunkan serta indera penciuman. Sedangkan mg/kgBB memperlama lama jika dibandingkan Haloperidol (P<0.05). tidak berbeda bermakna (P>0,05) levodopa. Berdasarkan hasil disimpulkan memiliki terjadinya
